When I was paralyzed in 2009, I felt completely alone—uncertain of what to do next and with no one in a similar situation to turn to. That experience showed me just how many gaps exist for people with disabilities. I believe the GAIN Independence Foundation can be the resource I wish I had back then. It has the power to bring the disabled community together, offer mental and emotional support, connect people with financial resources and equipment, and guide individuals through challenges they never expected to face. GAIN Independence can truly become a destination for those seeking not just help, but hope and empowerment.
